What the service covers
Routine upkeep covers living rooms and wet rooms: vacuuming and washing floors, disinfecting the bathroom and toilets, worktops and kitchen fronts, dusting furniture and skirting boards, mirrors, bins, airing. That is the base, whether weekly, fortnightly or monthly.
Beyond that, several jobs are ordered one at a time. A spring clean adds the inside of cupboards, the tops of wardrobes, radiators, switches and doors. Bringing a home back to standard after works, after a move or before an outgoing inspection tackles plaster marks, tape residue, windows opaque with dust and emptied homes nobody has washed for years.
Three services complete the list: windows, bay doors and conservatories, cleaned on both sides wherever access allows; textiles — sofas, armchairs and mattresses treated by hot water extraction, rugs and carpets — which come out far cleaner than a vacuum suggests; and ironing, often added to a regular visit. Light clearance, with a run to the recycling centre, can be attached to any of them.
What is not included is said up front: I do not go onto roofs from inside, I do not shift heavy furniture single-handed without written agreement, and a severely neglected property is priced separately.

How long does a two-bedroom flat take to bring back to standard?
Usually a full day for an empty two-bedroom flat nobody has looked after for months, windows included. A flat already maintained that simply needs to look immaculate for the final visit is closer to half a day. The site visit exists precisely to tell those two apart.
Do you treat sofas and mattresses on site?
Yes, by hot water extraction: the machine sprays a solution into the fibre then draws the dirty water back out. The fabric stays damp for several hours — leave the room open to a draught, and plan spare bedding for the night that follows. Rugs and carpets work the same way.
Can ironing be added to a regular visit?
It can, and it often is: part of the slot goes to the laundry while the rest of the home dries. Tell me the usual volume — one basket or three — so the time is written into the quotation rather than eaten out of the cleaning.
